WORKVO ("we", "our", or "the App") is an enterprise workforce management, attendance, payroll, and sales tracking platform developed by CogFocus. This Privacy Policy informs employers, employees, and authorized users regarding how personal data is collected, processed, and safeguarded when using our mobile application and services.
2. Information We Collect
- User Account Details: Name, Employee ID, Company Code, Official Email, and Contact Number provided by your employer.
- Precise Location Data (GPS): Location coordinates (Latitude, Longitude) are gathered when employees punch in/out to enforce authorized office geofencing, and during active sales shift tracking for field sales staff.
- Camera & Photos: Accessed only when an employee captures a selfie for biometric punch-in verification, if required by company policy.
- Device Identification: Hardware and OS identifiers are collected solely to enforce our Single-Device Lock security policy, preventing unauthorized login transfers without manager approval.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To verify authorized office attendance and compute monthly work hours and payroll.
- To record client visits and field sales routes during active working shifts.
- To send shift reminders, approval status notifications, and manager alerts.
- To maintain audit trails and prevent fraud or buddy-punching.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data transmitted between the WORKVO mobile application and our servers is secured with TLS/SSL HTTPS encryption. Sensitive records are encrypted at rest with multi-tenant company data isolation.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for the duration of your employment with your sponsoring organization. Employees may request data deletion or correction through their organization's HR/Admin department or by contacting us at support@cogfocus.com.
